No, that’s a myth. Dust and stains wear out fiber with time. Therefore, it makes sense to have your fabrics cleaned regularly.
If a garment label says washable, does that mean it cannot be dry cleaned?
Not necessarily. The Care Label Rule states that only one suitable method of care should appear on the label. If you want your washable clothes dry cleaned, your cleaner may ask you to sign a damage waiver.
Do leather, suede and fur cleaning processes involve different methods of cleaning?
We use special cleaning solutions and methods for leather, suede and fur because conventional cleaning methods may spoil their color and/or luster.
Can dry cleaning shrink my gown?
No, it will not. Professional cleaners are equipped with the necessary machines and solutions to care for your garments properly.
Does club soda remove stains?
Club soda may set stains, and should be avoided. Do not rub the stain with water or even club soda. Just take the stained clothes to your cleaners as soon as possible!
What is the difference between dry cleaning and wet cleaning?
Dry cleaning involves the use of fluids, and not water. Wet cleaning, on the other hand, makes use of water for cleaning.
